Our services are offered to you with the financial support of the Ministry of Education. 

The Équipe-Choc Complementary Educational Services team is sensitive to the reality of your environment. Our ressource persons from AGE-VT network are available to offer you personalized training adapted to the needs of your center.

The Complementary Educational Services aim to promote the success of adult education projects. Wheter through preventive or corrective actions, these services are intented to contribute to the development of the individual.

Learning Support Services

What to do when you don’t know what to do?

This presentation allows you to reflect on your actual and possible ways to support students throughout your teaching. We explore different aspects to recognize and target students’ needs. Participants are invited and welcomed to share real case scenarios. Together, we share, discuss, and explore new ways to support our students. 

What if we considered classroom resources a buffet open to all students? Students could pick and choose what works best for their learning. This workshop demonstrates inclusion through concrete examples applicable inside and outside the classroom. You’ll discover ways to make your materials more accessible and learn to use tools like Microsoft’s Immersive Reader for the benefit of all learners, not just those with specific needs. DIcover, experiment, share, and actively reflect with us on how to make your classroom more inclusive through technology.

This presentation introduces various concepts related to supporting all AGE and VT students not only those with special needs. You will discover the roles of Complementary Education Services while reflecting on your students’ profiles, their readyness for learning, and inclusives teaching strategies will be shared. 

Intervene to succeed is an online tool created by Complementary Educational Services. It presents observable behaviors in our students as well as strategies to implement in order to support them. This training not ony intorduces the tool but also encoruages teams to reflect on their practices.

Motivated students are more willing to engage and make an effort. This workshop explores Viau’s model of motivational dynamics and sparks conversations on classroom motivations for both teacher and students.

Health and well-being

Teachers recognize that students’ diverse backgrounds affect their learning readiness. This workshop will raise awareness about positive mental health, offering practical methods for understanding student behaviors. Acknowledging and addressing the impact of students’ 

backgrounds on their learning by implementing effective interventions is crucial for academic success, fosters positive relationships, and enhances the school climate.

How does stress appear in your students? By understanding the cognitive processes behind stress, educators can intervene in meaningful ways. Teachers will leave with a toolkit to help students manage stress in a healthy way.

Student life

In many environments, absenteeism poses various daily challenges: student tracking, academic engagement, perseverance, motivation of stakeholders and more. What if we viewed absenteeism as a symptom rather than a problem? This workshop allows teams to reflect, discover, share initiatives, reflect on school’s code of conduct, and, promote active participation among school staff and students.
